Jakarta is not the most inviting place to play outside with children because of the traffic, pollution and the ubiquitous smoking. It's just not easy. How far these moments appear where you can ride your bike to the park or for a walk. This game park has great facilities. It offers a range of indoor and outdoor games, and a water playground. On the positive side, Playparq an air-conditioned lounge where parents can sit, read, have a coffee or to work while the kids play in the park. The place can be reserved for birthday parties or other events, so call ahead before going so you can access the playground.

Ragunan Zoo
Jakarta Zoo has almost all animals children love to see elephants, giraffes, monkeys, komodo dragons and so on. If the place can be quite busy in the afternoon, it is usually more tolerable early morning. Some parts of the zoo and the animal cages are not so clean, but other areas are beautiful, with trees and f lowers. The Jakarta Spirit running group organizes a family at the zoo every Saturday morning. Children are welcome.

Sudirman no cars
Every Sunday morning, Jl. Sudirman becomes without a car. The street is blocked to allow people to run, bike, rollerblade or enjoy other sports they love. Even if it is very nice to walk or run without fear of being run over by a motorcycle or bus, be aware that the journey to and from Jl. Sudirman can be very painful because of the traffic jams caused by this event. ?
